Hello,

We are Roseanne, Antonio and Charbel and we are enthusiastic to open our hearts to a new child.

It is very courageous of you to consider adoption and it is our honour to be allowed to introduce ourselves to you. We hope that reading our profile will give you a sense of who we are and how we would like to grow and nurture our family and be the right family for your child.

As a family, we understand and appreciate the importance of a child’s connectivity to his or her roots, as well as a parent’s connectivity to his or her branches.

Antonio and I met on a blind date set up by our sisters – they were friends before we met.

What attracted me to him the most was his old world chivalry and utmost respect. Always opening doors for a lady and standing when I left or entered the room. Always putting me first.

When I first met Roseanne, although she was very reserved and quiet, I immediately felt a connection with her. Her eyes told me everything I needed to know, from that first moment I knew that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted to share all my happiness, love, pain, pressure and triumphs with her.

Our Life As A Family

We have been married for 12 years and we have an 8 year old biological son Charbel. We have learned a lot about each other and ourselves, and as a team we built our home, personal relationship. We have overcome challenges including infertility, and as a result have become stronger as a couple and as a family.

About Charbel

Charbel is a very outgoing child who loves sports, playing with his cousins and friends and is always there to make someone laugh. He was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of six years. We have embraced all the different ways we could find to help him reach his fullest potential, and he is making strides both academically and socially. He is very sociable and is always ecstatic to have playmates around him. We just know that adding to our family will only serve to make it more loving and complete.

We want to raise our next child with our core values of respect, love, devotion, and help them to develop to their fullest potential. We will surround this child with love, warmth, security, family, laughter and affection. Being parents has been the most valuable and priceless gift we have been given. We live to experience watching our son grow and we savour the different stages he has gone through. We both come from large extended European backgrounds with families that enjoy spending time together.

Forever Family, Waiting For You

Our Happy Home

We live in a small town of approximately 25,000 people. Our home is part of a quiet family neighbourhood, close to our son’s grade school and his future high school. The area is family friendly with many kids that all play together on many occasions. Most of our family live within walking distance from us. Our home is a raised ranch with three bedrooms, three bathrooms a full sized play room and open concept kitchen, eating area and living room.

Our faith is a staple part of our family life. We believe our culture of faith and belief in a greater being holds our family together.

Our lives together are filled with togetherness and family. Everything we do, we do together. Vacations, holidays, travel and faith, are all family oriented. Communication is key.

Roseanne Talks About Antonio

Antonio is a great father; he enjoys play time with our son Charbel. He is overcome his anxiety, sought help and we have dealt with it together. Antonio uses his numbers skills and mathematics interest to take on his challenges. Charbel is truly Dad’s little man.

Antonio Talks About Roseanne

Roseanne is a phenomenal mother, she enjoys taking care of us, and she is always there to help all of us. Her life truly embraces our family in its entirety. She always remembers a birthday party or special occasions for both our families. She supports us and has a good ear that listens to all of us.

On Parenting & Adoption

It is our philosophy of life that where you came from is what shapes the person you are to become. Therefore it is our intention to fully respect our children’s background and heritage, whatever it may be. It will be important to educate our children about where and whom they came from, this will help them to reach their full potential. Being adopted should not be felt by our child as if something was taken away, rather that they have been given even more to flourish.

We would like to express our sincere thank you for allowing us to share our family with you. We can only hope this profile helped to shed some light on our family dynamic. We look forward with excitement to whatever the future may hold for us.
